Product Catalogue Sheet
Plastic pipeline and fire mains bonded lining system based on moulded bricks, or mineral felt plates permanently anchored by elastic fire-resistant compound, or by metal joining elements. They are based on ORSIL PYRO plates and moulded bricks produced by defibering of the illiquation consisting of basalt, blast-furnace cinder and diabase mixture, being processed subsequently. The lining does not include any asbestos fibres.
Exterior: Without any additional surface finish, the lining is of light brown to grey-green colour, being with regular planning grid on the surface. The joints and connections are visibly cemented with a differently coloured compound. The lining surface without any additional paint is porous and rough.
Surface finish: The completed lining may, based on a special client's request be as for colours unified by usage of a special facade paint , delivered in the basic colour of white. Any other colours according to the agreement and in compliance with producer's capacitiy. Alternatively, the lining may be finished with an acrylate facade as a protection against meteorological factors
The system is determined for fire protection of fire-resistant plastic mains, or of waste-water, or other plastic pipelines, and this being for the period of 30 to 90 minutes of fire-resistance, respectively of safe operational temperature for PVC or PE pipes.
The linings are suitable for:Industrial environments with industrial atmosphere up to degree IV and for any commonly either heated or non-heated interiors. In case of necessity and after the prior surface finish, the lining may be used for exteriors, too, where at the same time it may be used for a thermal insulation as well. The thermal insulation of the construction (cold bridges) shall permanently be insulated by the lining , without causing any additional load through bearing elements, they shall remain without any cracks, and as for the construction under protection, the linings even withstand the vibrations and dynamic strokes .
Plates are not suitable:Lining without any surface finish must not be exposed to any dripping or flowing water, maximally permitted rel. air humidity shall be of 85 per cent.
The deliveries, including assembly, shall be executed by J.SEIDL & spol.,s.r.o. exclusively, where all further requirements may be stated, by or other firms that are in possession of the written J.Seidl a spol.,s.r.o. licence for the application of all industrial rights as for the said solution.
When commonly used as for the constructions, and with the presumption of observing the technological instructions, the lining shall meet the provisions set under § 47 par. 1 of the Building Act.
The fire-resistant ORDEXAL linings were tested by the PAVÚS - Veselí n.L. Testing Agency and professionally assessed by REPO - Exp.Centre Centre for Construction Fire Resistance, Prague. The table below was designed based on the said tests as well as on the Expert's Opinion with showing the limiting temperatures obtained as for a pipeline with protection secured by the lining, whereas the heating load was in compliance with the valid ISO curve and the ČSN EN 1363-1. The finale temperatures shall be compared with the plastification temperature of the corresponding pipeline. The table shall be valid for dry pipelines, without any flooding, should the pipelines be with flooding, then the safety aspect shall be observed.

In the course of the design of a lining for a concrete fire resistance, the thickness being the nearest to the higher thickness mentioned in the table, shall always be selected. The limiting temperatures as for the EI fire resistance due to the building standards is of 1400C + temperature of the external environment, should plastic pipelines be applied, the way of setting the pipelines on supports, and the condition of the pipelines being flooded with water, or not, shall always be taken into consideration. In any case of doubts, please do not hesitate to consult our company .
The following table for pipelines from polypropylene may with reserve as for the safety be applied as for the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipelines.

- Further, the notes and all other warnings said in the table for polyethylene pipelines shall be observed in the process of the table application.
The ORDEXAL lining system application shall always be bound with observation of the prescribed know-how and keeping the precise material composition in compliance with the samples tested by the PAVÚS Veselí n.L testing agency as well as with valid certificates. Therefore, only the firms that may submit the written authorization, and were trained by J.Seidl & spol.,s.r.o., (being in possession of all industrial right to this application) may execute these applications. Should this condition be not met, then, the Certificate, respectively the Declaration of Compliance, may not be applied for any executed work.
