Fillers for Constructional Joints (summary)
System ORDEXAL^®

A. Product Properties

The bonded fillers for both expanding and stable construction joints in vertical antifire partitioning structures, securing their fire resistance in compliance with the ČSN 73 0810 due to ČSN EN 13501-2. The systems are formed based on plates from ORSIL PYRO mineral fibres and the fire-resistant glue with intumescent paints, are without any asbestos, halogens and heavy metals.

Exterior: Grey-green and grey-brown plate elements, set before the joint hole in the antifire partitioning structure. These elements cover the joint hole completely. The fillers allow expanding movements of joints within the prior set extent.

B. Application

The system is to be applied for fillers of construction joints in vertical antifire partitioning structures, both fixed and expanding, and the fire resistance between E(I) 30 and E(I) 120 in compliance with the ČSN EN 13501-2 may be achieved by them.

The fillers are suitable for:Industrial environments with the industrial atmosphere to degree IV and for all common heated and non-heated interiors. The fillers are not of any load for the structure, are without any cracks, and may withstand any vibrations and dynamic shocks very well.

The fillers are not suitable for: Environments with strong corrosivity (pH, aromats and organic fumes) and for places with flowing or dropping water, respectively for non-ventilated places with the rel. air moisture higher than 90 %.

D. Delivery Terms:

All deliveries of these systems shall be executed by J.SEIDL & spol.,s.r.o., being the owner of the know-how and of all industrial rights, and where any requests and tested sorts of fillers may be sent .

E. Life

When commonly used as for the constructions and the environment in compliance with par. B and under observation of prescribed technological procedures, the fillers shall meet the provisions set under § 47 par. 1 of the Building Act for the period of the economic life of the structure, with the exclusion of any mechanical damage.

F. Antifire Technical Properties

The ORDEXAL^® antifire fillers for construction joints were tested with evidence by the accredited PAVÚS - Veselí n.L. Testing Agency and certified by the AO 216 Praha.

Based on the said tests and records this body executed Records on Specification with the computed values of fire resistance as for different kinds of structures concerning their various antifire properties. The Table gives the set of individual filler and specifications thereof as follows.

G. Terms for Application

The application of any system shall always be bound with observation of the prescribed know-how and keeping the precise material composition in compliance with the samples tested by the PAVÚS Veselí n.L ,Testing Agency as well as with valid certificates. Therefore, only the firms that may submit the written authorization, and were trained by J.Seidl & spol.,s.r.o., (being in possession of all industrial right to this application) may execute these applications. Should this condition be not met, then, the Certificate, respectively the Declaration of Compliance, may not be applied for any executed work.
