Product Catalogue Sheet
The antifire foaming coating system for wooden bearing structures and wooden pole elements, interior, thinable with water to some extent. The coating is not hygroscopic, the coating does not include any asbestos, or halogens.
Exterior: The functional layer forms a pure, coherent transparent coating, partially penetrated into the surface of the wood. Under the coating, the wood may be treated to reach the requested colour, exclusively by means of spirit stains. Should other means or coatings be used, neither the permanent transparency, adhesion to the base, nor the long-term functionality may be secured.
Surface Finish: After the case hardening, the completed functional coating must treated with the prescribed covering transparent varnish, which is an inseparable part of the whole system and so creates the condition for its long-term life and functionality. This varnish finishes the final appearance of the coated structure and may either laclustre, or lustrous.
The system shall be applied for fire protection of wooden bearing structures due to ČSN 73 0810, ČSN 73 0802, ČSN 73 804 and relating standards thereto, and the fire resistance of wood and of wooden elements between R15 and R60 according to the Final Records 9/97 dependent on their diameter. By the application of the coating the flammability of the coniferous wood may be lowered to the Grade A (inflammable) in compliance with the ČSN 73 0862. The painted wood shall be with the fire propagation index of Is = 25 due to the ČSN 73 0863
The coating is suitable for:Exclusively to be applied in common heated and non-heated exteriors with the max. permanent relative air moisture of. 75 %, first of all on pillars and beams in the attics, for interiors of wooden structures, roof truss structures and in the attics. It may also be applied for some non-loadbearing flat structures, planch ceilings and for non-loadbearing partitions of the D2 and D3 types to secure their inflammability and for the reduction of the fire propagation due to the ČSN 73 0863..
The coating is not suitable for : To be applied in environments with relative air moisture higher than 75 % , and it may not be in any direct contact with lime, or agents with lime, or alkali.
Important Warning: Wooden structures covered with the antifire DEXARYL B Transparent coating may not be considered as inflammable structures of the D1 type, the application of an antifire coating may not increase the permanent aspect of the fire seals.
The deliveries, including assembly, shall be executed by J.SEIDL & spol.,s.r.o. exclusively, where all further requirements may be stated, by or other firms that are in possession of the written J.Seidl a spol.,s.r.o. licence to apply all industrial rights as for the said solution. Any misuse and breach of industrial rights shall be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
Based on long-term certifying tests of climatic ageing and of subsequent assessment of the antifire technical properties executed by the VVUD Breznice testing laboratory and summed up in the Closing Testing Protocol no. N 011/02, the life of the coating under terms said in par. B may be presumed for the period of 15 - 20 years.
The DEXARYL B Transparent antifire coating was conclusively tested by the PAVÚS - Veselí n.L. accredited Testing Agency and certified under AO 216 Praha. Based on the executed Final Records 9/97 tests and on corresponding records the Records on Specification was set by this body, where the obtained values of the fire resistance of the wooden natural and bonded bearing rods (poles and beams) dependant on the diameter were published. Table 1 shows these values regarding the colouring power of the coating of 550 g.m-2 , and with the thickness of the dry layer of ca 190 - 200 micrometers as follows :

Dimensation table and issued building and technical certificate is in force till 31 December.2005.
The DEXARYL B Transparent coating system application shall always be bound with observation of the prescribed know-how and keeping the precise material composition in compliance with the samples tested by the PAVÚS Veselí n.L Testing Agency as well as with valid certificates. Therefore, only the firms that may submit the written authorization, and were trained by J.Seidl & spol.,s.r.o., (being in possession of all industrial right to this application) may execute these applications. Should this condition be not met, then, the certificate, respectively the Declaration of Compliance, may not be applied for any executed work.
